Coruscant: Crisis in the Galactic City

Coruscant is only now recovering from the attack by the Empire that led to the eventual cease-fire. Many buildings were reduced to rubble; a few still burn, the fires fueled by chemicals and uncontrolled reactors. "The Migrant Merchants' Guild began as a political advocacy group for war refugees" Senator Kayl was an interesting sight; not because of her looks, even if they were attractive, but for her manners. She moved with determination, spoke in a passionate tone, and gestured just the right amount to put emphasis on the facets of the subject at hand. "Over the years, it transformed into a ruthless and murderous criminal syndicate."

Idilan had to admit that far from political games, the situation seemed to be something in dire need of Jedi intervention. "What has been done to help?" Still, he felt something was missing; even more reason to take a closer look.

"Not nearly enough, Master Jedi" the Senator admitted with a sigh. "The reconstruction efforts have us all stretched thin, and now the situation ran out of control. Earlier today, Guild thugs took to the streets. They attacked our security personnel, set fires, began rioting. We're facing an armed insurrection. The comm channels are jammed and we've lost contact with our security forces. I need your help ending this crisis. The criminals must not win."
